Correlation between Histopathologic Features and β-HCG Levels in the Event of Hydatidiform Mole

Background: Hydatidiform mole is a gestational trophoblastic disease with the highest incidence in Indonesia where 1 40 pregnancies. The cause of high influenced by reproductive performance patients such as disorders hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian system which causes hyperproliferation cells, hydrophic degeneration chorionic villi, and increased levels β-hCG. Methods: This research was involving human subjects so that related to issues ethical consideration. It done at Anatomical Pathology Laboratory medical record division Hasanuddin University Hospital Dr Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar from September - November 2019. number samples 28 used total sampling method fulfill inclusion exclusion criteria.
